***I received this Arc for an honest review.***

This is my first time reading for C.A. Harms I enjoyed the book Scarred by Love. It hits on a subject that is hidden by alot of women today. Abuse! And Riley Parks has experienced it.

Riley Parks is in college and has been living with Parker. Well Parker is a drinker and doesnt handle it well at all. In fact he has drank one time too many this time and has done enough damage for a lifetime. He has Riley Scarred to love again. Riley decides enough is enough. With 4 brothers Riley turns to them now and one handles the issue for her. All four of her brothers are older than her and very protective.
She recovers from the mental anquish and physical damage from Parker. Its time to take back her life and stop hiding. So she goes out with the her best friend,Kate. A night out is what she needs. They all decide to go to the party together tonite.Carson seems to be the one she connects with the most. Carson and her best friend and roomate,Kate, hit it off. Kate is quite taken with Carson but his is one of the brothers that hasnt decided to settle down with one woman. Til now. Kate and Carson become quite close and Riley keeps walking in on their many love sessions. It sickens her with her brother and Kate being so openly in their lovemakeing. They seem to bicker all the time but yet they stay together.

In comes Zander. One look at Riley dancing with the group of girls she with has Zander looking. He tries a cheesy pick up so Riley thinks and that just turns her head the other way. But for Zander it wasnt a line and he was serious. Hes interested! Zander goes back with his head hanging. But Beth his best friend pushes him to go for it. As Riley goes out for soem fresh air she notices Zander with his arms around another woman,Beth.

Riley isnt sure of Zander at all. She has the butterflies from just being close by him. "Bad Boys...off limits." Riley meets Grant. Preppy guy, nice looking, different from her usual. She dates him and finds out there is just no chemistry there between them. She doesnt have the butterflies with him like she did with Zander from the party.

She starts to date Zander and things are nice but he just keeps pissing her off and cant seem to understand why. He has the feelings for her from the begining, but Riley has been Scarred By Love so she has her guard up. But its hard and she likes Zander alot. But he just keeps screwing up and doesnt put her first before his friends. She doesnt like it. They never get any time alone and she is always having to share him with his best friend and his best friend is a little too friendly for her.

Will Riley ever get her HEA with Zander? Or will he continue to keep screwing up and not open his eyes and look around him to see why he keeps screwing up?

I enjoyed the book. I loved the characters. Rileys brothers are just so protective over her. Loved it. I hated Rileys atittude most of the time in the book. She was just a bit of prissy bitch at times and just kept things stirred up between them. Zander on the other hand was a blind fool and didnt open his eyes to see why he kept pushing her buttons.

Saturdays at the Viper Rooms is different and unique. I loved the characters and the story. What happens when you have no where left to go and no one who cares? You become a Viper Girl!

A Viper Girl is extravagantly dressed, well paid,and whose job is to please the wealthy men with their own fantasies. These men have to become members of this exclusive gentlemems club and also sign a specific contract. But some fantasies arent worth this job. They can hurt you and they WILL hurt you. Clara Delvine is the "Boss". Once she has her nails in you and you sign her contract..you become her property. She has a set of rules:



you break these rules you pay for it. And this is beyond the worst of any of the girls fears. You WILL pay for breaking the Clara Delvine's rules.

Joely Gilbert is running from her past. She doesnt want to look back and needs to make a living and this is the best she can do. She has signed the dotted line now and is there til her contract is up. There is no getting out of it. Joely has stayed true to her contract rules and has become one of the head Viper Girls. One of Clara's favorites.
Til the day comes and she breaks the worst rule of all, she falls in love with one of her clients, Jace Mason.

Jace Mason is running with some issues himself and has chosen to go to the Viper Girls to fill his need. He has met Joely and broke a rule himself of the club. Jace is going to save her, he tells her but the day comes when not even he can save her or can he.

What happens when you break the rules Clara Delvine has set? Will Joely ever be able to get out of her contract? Will she set Jace free to save her job and give up the love they have?

I gave this 5 stars. Its HOT, EROTIC, AND STEAMY and will keep you totally captivated. I love the originality of the story and they way Kirsty-Anne Still has written it. Its one of those books you dont want to put down afraid you'll miss something. I got to the end and BAM! There it was! Its not a HEA but its also not a bad cliffhanger either but you will know that you gotta have more of The Viper Girls. I do recommend this book. You wont be sorry for purchasing it.

There was a strange moment of silence and I concentrated hard, trying to hear more than the obvious. They were all waiting. Waiting for the order. Waiting for the man in charge to speak. He did. It came from the left of me. His voice was cool, calm and collected. I didn’t have to see to know who had taken me. The man I’d heard so much about. The man I’d been taught to fear. “Gentleman,” he said and I could almost feel his infamous eyes on my body, “remove the bag.” There was a rustle and my face was immediately met with cool air that seized my lungs and bright lights that blinded me. I scrunched up my face, afraid to look, to see. Now it was all so real and I wanted to stay in the dark. “Who did this?” Suddenly cool hands were at my swollen cheek and I flinched. “Who did this?” my captor repeated, an edge to his level voice, his cigar-laced breath on my face. “Sorry,” Franco mumbled. “It was the only way to quiet her.” A heavy pause filled the room like deadweight. I wanted to look at the others, at Este, at Franco, at the two other mystery men, but I was frozen in his gaze like a cow in headlights. “What is the knife for?” I asked, my throat painfully dry. “You’ll find out after,” he said. “It is for your husband. For your Salvador.” He stepped to the side and waved his arm at the camera. “And this is also for him.” He eyed someone over my shoulder and gave a sharp nod. I heard a rip from behind and a piece of duct tape was placed over my mouth. I squirmed helplessly and the lights in the basement dimmed. The men stepped to the side while Javier went behind the video camera. A white light came off the front of it and bathed me in an eerie glow. Javier cleared his throat, his face covered in shadow and said loudly, projecting to the camera, “This is Luiza Reyes, former beauty queen of the Baja State and property of Salvador Reyes. Salvador, we have your wife and we have a long list of demands, demands which I know you can meet. I expect full cooperation in this matter, or she dies in the next seven days. If she’s lucky. I’ll give you some time to think about what you’re willing to give up for her. Then we’ll be contacting you. Good bye.” The light on the camera switched off but the rest of the room remained dim. “I hope your husband checks his emails often. It would be a shame to have to put this on YouTube.” There was a smirk on his face at that as he slowly walked toward me, the knife glinting in his hand. His eyes burned through the shadows, then grew somber. He held up the knife. “I think it’s only going to hurt the first time.” My eyes focused on the silver of the blade but the terror inside me grew too strong and my urge to breathe through the duct tape became too difficult. My lungs seized in panic, pulsing dots appeared in my vision. I felt a hand on my collarbone, gripping the edge of my blouse and then everything went black.
